Inspiration
My design process for the "The Amethyst" collection is rooted in the exploration of form and color inspired by the rare and captivating purple twilight. Through carefully considered draping techniques, I have sought to capture the fluidity and grace of these twilight moments, translating them into silhouettes that evoke a sense of movement and depth. The palette is dominated by varying shades of amethyst, playing with tonal contrasts to reflect the dynamic interplay of light and shadow during twilight. The result is a series of designs that balance structure and softness, embodying the ephemeral beauty of this natural phenomenon while emphasizing the harmonious fusion of color and form.

In the "Amethyst" collection, my design process centers on the seamless blend of red and purple shades, reflecting the natural gradation that makes twilight so enchanting. By using tulle in both hues, I've explored the interplay of transparency and light, allowing the colors to merge organically without harsh distinctions yet maintaining their unique vibrancy. The fabric's inherent qualities guide the design, as I let it fall and shape itself naturally, much like how nature forms without constraints. This approach enables the tulle to express its own fluidity and grace, creating silhouettes that are both structured and free-flowing. By not forcing the fabric to conform, I embrace the beauty of its movement, resulting in designs that evoke the serene yet powerful essence of purple twilights.
